‘Morning Joe’ Co-Host Mika Brzezinski Leaves X After Trump Meeting

Mika Brzezinski, a co-host on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” has announced that she will no longer post on X.

Brzezinski has expressed her dissatisfaction with the fact that she has become a “punching bag” on the social media platform owned by Elon Musk and will be posting on Bluesky, a more left-friendly social media site.

Brzezinski, who has been criticized for meeting with President-elect Donald Trump after having previously referred to him as a “fascist” and a menace to the nation, wrote what she claimed would be her final message on her X account over the weekend. Joe Scarborough, her husband and co-host, has also been criticized for his role in the meeting.

“I’ve decided to leave X, but I’d love to keep the conversation going,” the 57-year-old Brzezinski wrote, adding that she was “trying to think through it” and that people were “scared, disorientated, and fearful of the future, and I think just for a quick moment I might be the punching bag for that. Join me on BlueSky!”
