Usha Vance says husband JD Vance’s life is “very lonely”

Usha Vance, the Second Lady of the United States, recently shared insights into her life with Vice President JD Vance. She highlighted the isolation her husband often feels in his high-profile role, stating, “It can be a very lonely, lonely world not to share with someone.”

Usha, born in 1986 in San Diego to Indian immigrant parents, met JD at Yale Law School. They married in 2014 and have three children: Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel. She described their transition into public life as a significant shift from their previous private existence. Despite facing public scrutiny, including incidents like being booed at a Kennedy Center event, Usha maintains a positive outlook, emphasizing the importance of personal values over media narratives.

In her first interview since becoming Second Lady, Usha addressed her role in the political sphere, acknowledging the challenges of public perception but expressing gratitude for the support they’ve received. She also humorously responded to questions about fitting into the “MAGA Land” culture, noting that her natural appearance has been well-received.

Overall, Usha Vance portrays a grounded perspective on the complexities of political life, balancing her family’s privacy with the demands of public service.
